Born 2 May 1950 in Szczecin. Married, with two children.He has a higher education degree in economics.Between 1974 and 1989 he worked for Polish Ocean Lines, in the organisation, administration and economics of the enterprise. Since 1991, he has been employed in the City Hall of Gdynia, first as head of the Economic Policy Department and since 1995 as the City Manager. He likes reading non-fiction, periodicals and the history of art.
