A resident of Gdynia by choice. He is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk with a higher education degree in economics. He has worked in the City Hall of Gdynia since 1999.He has been responsible for the management of Municipal and State Treasury properties, promotion of the city, tourism, entrepreneurship as well as job creation which also includes helping the disabled in this sphere. The Mayor of Gdynia Wojciech Szczurek awarded him with the medal of Civitas e mari (for those who have bravely pursued their dreams). He has been awarded the Contribution to Tourism medal by the Minister of Sport and Tourism.In 2010, he was awarded with the Gold Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland in recognition of his activities in the fields of local community, development of democracy and local governance, achievements in professional and social work undertaken for the benefit of the country.He is married and has two children.His interests are in line with the current interests of his daughters. He likes analogue photography, cycling and music of the 1980s.
