Scope of Activities

Helmsman

Over 12, completed training course.

Unlimited inland water sail boats, at sea – unsinkable yachts, regattas and training supervised

Inland Skipper

Completed training course, over 18 (or 16 with Helmsman Licence), experience at sea: 200 h in minimum 2 voyages

Sailing yachts with sails area of up to 40m2, within up to 20 Mm offshore

Yacht Skipper

18 yrs of age, Inland Skipper’s Licence, experience at sea: 600 hrs in minimum 3 voyages, incl. 1 voyage in tidal waters with tidal range over 1,5m (100 h and 2 ports).

Sailing yachts of up to 80m2 sails area with no limitation as to the water body

Yacht Master

Yacht Skipper Licence, experience at sea 1000 hours in minimum 2 voyages including 400 hours of sole navigation: 300 h on yachts of over 80m2 sails area and 21m length.

Unlimited sailing

The above mentioned Licences can be automatically verified with the PZMWiNW (Polish Association of Powerboats and Water Skiing) to be converted to equivalent Powerboat Licences.

Day Skipper / Powerboat Certificate

Over 12, completed training course.

Driving powerboats with engines up to 1000cm3

Powerboat Skipper

Over 18, Powerboat Skipper Certificate for at least 1 year and completed training course.

Driving up to 24 m long powerboats at sea, up to 20 Mm offshore.

Advanced Powerboat Certificate

Advanced Powerboat Certificate, experience at sea 600 hrs in minimum 3 voyages, incl. 1 voyage in tidal waters with tidal range over 1,5m.

Driving up to 24 m long powerboats at sea, with no limitations as to the water body.

Powerboat Master

Powerboat Master Certificate, experience at sea 800 hrs in minimum 2 voyages, incl. 400 hrs of sole navigation (motor yacht or sail boat).

Unlimited driving of motor-yachts.

The above mentioned Powerboat Certificates can be automatically verified with the PZŻ (Polish Yachting Association) to be converted to equivalent Sailing Licences.
