The Polish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce created two 10-minute movies within the project "Interface" in order to promote a trip across the Baltic Sea without a car. Both films are dedicated to the sister cities of Gdynia and Karlskrona. There have been a lot of changes in both cities, thanks to which travelling across the Baltic without a car has become convenient and attractive. In Gdynia there operates a special shuttle bus line no 570, which is the fastest way to reach the ferry terminal from the city center and back. In both cities tourism information is available in several languages. Apart from all the facilities waiting for the non-motorized, the a/m films feature other attractions for such tourists, e.g. Swedish skerries, picturesque Karlskrona and modern Gdynia. The movies characters, Monika and Ewelina, are accompanied by an animated seal. The "Interface" project is to revitalize cross-border passenger transportation, creating a comfortable, cheap and environmentally friendly alternative for travelling in the South Baltic area.
